Tuesday June 17th

Good Morning,
Monday went by in a blur of housework. Now to catch up on more interviews and reviews. Find the time to write on my own book and continue with even more housework.
People thing authors have a glamorous life. I don't not that far up the writing food chain. I think Mary Higgins Clark seems to have one.
I still do my own housework, and whatever cooking my husband doesn't want to do, I still do my own research for my books and at least the trade off is I can work in my sweats or my jeans. I don't have to wear makeup and I can set my own hours. Which happens to be a curse and a blessing.
Mostly through the years the one thing I have learned is the more you stay home and write. The more your family and friends think you have nothing to do and the more they try to change you to their scehdule.
It's a fact of life that nothing is perfect all the time. I think being an author might be as close as I will come and at least I can get up and go take a walk. Something I couldn't do sitting in an office job. Still when you have to write and you're staring at a blank page. It's doesn't make for a fun day at work.
I usually take a walk, or in the winter I will cross stitch the plot problem or protag problem away. Sooner or later maybe even while doing dishes the light bulb above my head comes on and I'm off and running again.
