Mother's Day

Well Mother's Day was pretty relaxing. On Saturday went book shopping and THOUGHT that was my Mother's Day which I was content with but I woke up on Sunday and Frank had put a card in the living room with a huge box. The box turned out to be a red blender, a red toaster and a red coffee maker. Since my kitchen is red this was a great surprise and he had bought me a lovely Mother's Day Card. The rest of the day was filled with email first, then Monak Marathon Laundry, cleaning in the kitchen so the new stuff could go in there, plus Melissa phoned, she was very very tired, final next week and so lots of studying, Travis wanted to take her to the movies out for dinner and she was NOT in the mood, and that about sums her up for the weekend. Next came Amy who called and she was having Mexican Food for Sunday and she had car problems, then came Mishell who called to say that they had been fishing and camping all day so she would stop in on Monday to bring me a little something and sorry it would be late but she had been helping clean fish. I told her that was okay....LOLOL
I then went back to laundry and the Monk Marathon and Frank made a lot more progress on Melissa's Hope Chest, then he came in and fixed me a steak supper, baked potatoes, rolls and green beans, plus salsa and chips. Then peach pie for dessert with chocolate chip ice cream. Then he an I watched 'Mystery' on pbs and then he fell asleep and I watched more Monk. He woke up flipped channels and I fell asleep, I woke up he went to bed and here I am....I had planned on more stitching and rewriting today but conversations took longer than expected. Iwill now go back to rewriting and then I want to try and finish DEAD DAYS OF SUMMER tonight.
