MEMORIAL DAY
Well today has been tougher but I am not doing too badly. My dryer is fixed thanks to my wonderful husband. I went out and bought some suckers and jolly ranchers....still can't find the cinnamon suckers that I want or hot tamale candy. Or even red hots....
Right now I am sucking on a sour grape sucker which is a little too sour for me but hey at least I am sticking with the no smoking. I did some laundry and tonight I am not sure if we will have tacos or pizza.
I had a BLT for lunch.
I think I will start writing down my book plot a little later. Melissa wanted me to take this month off of writing until I got the no smoking thing under control but I am very afraid that would leave me too much time on my hands and I have had enough time off writing for now. I think I'll try the writing for this week and if I can handle it then I will continue if it's a no way sorta thing I will go back to stitching ONLY this month. Today I have been in the yardswing reading VISIONS OF MURDER by Victoria Laurie and I have to say this is a really really good book. So that has helped relax me immensely today. I also have been watching the Criminal Intent Marathon but sure wish it could have been MURDER SHE WROTE or POIROT. I am back home where I don't get the BIO Channel that has all of these and the other channels like Melissa and Travis did not that I got to see them all that much up there but at least they had them.
I cleaned off my sewing machine today and I think I have to get a new sewing machine as I was going to try to make a quilted wall hanging and this is a very very old machine in a cabinet long story short we can't seem to get the needles for it anymore etc...so the sewing machine shop said it wouldn't worth it to fix the other things wrong. I put the material and such away for the lighthouse wall hanging and I think we'll buy me a new machine or have Frank try to find me a passable more modern one at a rummage sale around here. I thought that might've helped with the smoking and with all the changes going on in my life right now it seemed like a good time to try to work on this, but I think I will wait a little longer.
So who is stitching and reading what this week? You know what I am reading....stitching it will be the small Lizzie Kate, then my Alma Lynne, plus plotting my book. Maybe writing a scene or two etc....I have the book plotted in my head but we can't anything up there for long.LOLOLOL..........
Hugs, Pamela

Good luck today.
